Cornwall is an absolute hive of activity. There is something for all the family whatever the weather.
Cornwall is famous for its wonderful sandy beaches, loved by families and surfers alike. Higher Tregawne is just 10 miles from the beaches at Rock, Polzeath and Daymer Bay.
The Camel Trail which runs through Wadebridge (4 miles from Higher Tregawne) to Padstow, is a fantastic bike ride and great fun. The Camel Trail is also enjoyed by walkers and the Coastal Path offers miles of spectacular coastal scenery and hidden coves for walkers to discover.
There is a plethora of watersports to enjoy including surfing, coasteering, sea kayaking, sailing, water skiing, wakeboarding and paddleboarding. Fishing trips run from the harbour at Padstow.
The local area is rich in famous restaurants - Rick Stein, Nathan Outlaw and Jamie Oliver all have restaurants on the north coast. There are also many other restaurants and pubs to meet all tastes and budgets.
